San Joaquin County Jail Notary Services
Service Includes:
Travel Fee: Covers travel to and from San Joaquin County Jail.
Waiting Fee: Includes time spent waiting at the facility & lock down risk.
Appointment Coordination: Contacting the county jail to confirm the appointment and ensuring compliance with jail protocols.
Document Notarization:
Up to 2 signatures included.
Additional signatures will be charged at $15 per signature.
Hours of Operation & Additional Fees for Jail Notary:
Standard Appointment Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
After-Hours Appointments (6:00 PM – 9:00 AM):
An additional fee of $75 will apply for appointments outside of standard hours.
Requirements for Notarization:
Valid identification for the inmate (jail-issued ID or inmate number).
Documents to be notarized must be ready and complete and brought to the jail or provided to us via email atleast 3 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
Appointment must be scheduled in advance.
Ensure Inmate is aware of the following:
Inmate is aware of the appointment and is not scheduled for court.
All fees collected are non refundable once notary arrives at the jail regardless of inmates decision to sign the documents.
Inmate is aware of the type of document to be signed and has full understanding of the documents.
Inmate should be able to communicate in english for all notarization needs.
Fees Overview:
Base Fee: Covers travel, waiting & lock down risk, and up to 2 signatures only.
Additional Signatures: $15 per signature.
After-Hours Fee: $75 for appointments held between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM.
